Privacy Policy

Parlonto is designed to keep your data on your device. This page describes what limited information we do collect and why.

1. The waitlist

If you join the waitlist before launch, we store the email address you provide, an optional language preference, and an optional flag indicating whether you'd consider being a beta tester. We use this only to notify you when Parlonto launches on the App Store and to contact a subset of waitlist members about beta testing. We do not share this information with third parties.

2. The app itself

Parlonto runs on-device. Your voice recordings, vocabulary progress, conversation history, and lesson data never leave your phone. Speech recognition and AI grading both happen locally. The only times the app talks to a server are: (a) downloading unit content the first time you add a unit, and (b) generating a custom unit.

3. No accounts

Parlonto does not require an account. There is no login, no password, no email collected by the app itself.

4. Your rights

You can request deletion of your waitlist entry at any time by emailing hello@parlonto.com.

5. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted here with an updated date below.
